A musical and poetic journey to an otherworldly place, rich in unexpected encounters, improbable discoveries and genuine emotions. For this new creation, they take you on a voyage of discovery through a selection of the finest poems from the Arab world. Luck (Zzhar in Berber...) brought them into contact with the extraordinary Egyptian musician Ihab Radwan during their various artistic wanderings.  It didn't take long for the obvious to happen, and the desire to share and mix cultures in a spirit of openness and tolerance was immediately apparent.  Each of the three musicians, with his or her own background and experience, travels and readings, deeply feels the need to tell stories, both with words and with sounds and music.  Poetry in Eastern culture is a veritable literary treasure trove, handed down both orally and in writing, and has spanned the centuries from antiquity to the present day.  It offers us a vast horizon of deep, rafined feelings whose subtlety touches the heart and delights the mind.  Drawing on this infinie richness is an extraordinary source of inspiration, and invited the three musicians to share it.  The compositions and improvisations of the three musicians blend the spicy flavors of the East (North African, Indian and Arab-Persian music) with the aromatic herbs of the West.

  ----------------------------------------------------------

In a universe imbued with a modal and poetic gentleness, the melody, with the roundness of the flute complemented by Ihab Radwan's oud, introduces the first poem. 'The tales tell us the story of a magical spring at the center of a great fire...' The flames lick the words, caress the notes, and magic happens. No steep reliefs, no tumultuous torrents, no dark gorges. Only the light of a soft, calm, slow, almost introverted music. Music inspired by the Orient that calls for thought, reflection, and travel..."
